When a lion was walking out in the sparkling snow with his magnificent mane blowing in the wind, the name “catwalk” took on a whole new meaning. The five-year-old Tom, the photogenic cat, posed wide-eyed with his hair unkempt, and lying down next to some pine branches.
The king of the jungle, or in this case, the Zoopark Na Hrádeku in the Cᴢᴇᴄʜ Republic, sauntered around while he also nestled up to a tree stump, his golden fur catching the sun.
Robert Grim, a 51-year-old amateur photographer from Prague, took the beautiful pictures. He said the animal was saved from unethical ᴍᴇᴛʜods and is now free to walk about in a “vast expanse” at the zoo. The lion’s name is Tom, and according to Mr. Grim, he appeared to have just left the barbershop.
Tom and his brother Leo were rescued from an extremely ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀᴏᴜs and unlawful situation. They have a lot of space and are flourishing in this park. This lion is going to celebrate his sixth birthday with his brother.
The lions are frequently featured on the zoo’s social media platforms. On August 10, 2020, Zoopark Na Hrádeku gave Tom and Leo toys that had some ᴍᴇᴀᴛ tucked inside of them in honor of World Lion Day. Zoopark Na Hrádeku claims on its website that it collaborates with zoos all across Europe and takes part in conservation efforts.
