Antonio Brown says Aaron Rodgers to Steelers deal is done image

While almost all of the key free agents available in the NFL have found new teams by day two of free agency, there is one who still hasn’t decided on a destination: Aaron Rodgers.

The Green Bay Packers legend is leaving the New York Jets after two dismal seasons with them, and over the last day or two, he has been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some feel it is all but inevitable that he will be heading to Pittsburgh, but there is still a chance that the New York Giants, another team he has been linked to, could snag the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Former Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown went on X (formerly known as Twitter) to claim that Rodgers going to the black and yellow is a done deal.

Of course, anything Brown says or posts on social media should be taken with a grain of salt, since he has been one of football’s biggest loose cannons over the years.

It seems as if the Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh rumors have real legs, but as Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio noted on Tuesday, the hold-up is probably money. At the same time, if winning is truly a high priority for Rodgers, a man who proudly owns a Super Bowl championship ring, the Steelers would probably be his only viable option, unless he wants to stick it to Packers fans Brett Favre-style and join the Minnesota Vikings.
