“Justin Bieber knows about Diddy’s arrest and all the charges. However, that’s not something he wants to focus on,” the source said. The insider added that Justin has been living happily ever after since the birth of baby Jack, and the “Peaches” singer wants to focus on being a great father and husband.
Meanwhile, another source recently shared with the media that Justin and Hailey are both extremely happy to be first-time parents, expressing that having a baby is truly a miracle and that the pregnancy is something they have wished and prayed for: “The day the couple found out Hailey was pregnant was the most amazing day for Justin. He was so excited, it was a huge celebration for them. Justin is already an amazing father.”
Meanwhile, an insider told the Daily Mail that Justin’s silence on the matter was intentional, and that he had no intention of speaking out at any point: “Justin hasn’t responded to this since the raid on rapper Diddy’s house, he won’t.” If Justin could turn back time, working with Diddy on the rapper’s latest album would be out of the question. Justin Bieber reportedly regrets working with the embattled rap mogul in light of recent allegations.
Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16 local time, at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City, following a grand jury indictment. Diddy was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The 14-page indictment later released by the government said Diddy was accused of “forming a criminal organization whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Diddy is also accused of using his celebrity status to coerce women into attending drug-fueled parties known as “Freak Offs.” Court documents show authorities seized three AR-15 rifles and 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant during raids on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March.
