After being recently rescued by firefighters, the young woman’s cat vanishes once more, disappearing into the untamed wilderness.

Snow found himself trapped between two walls of a house in Sydney, Australia, on January 31. Rescued thanks to the intervention of firefighters, the feline vanished into the wild once again, plunging its mistress into deep despair. Amma Asantuaa bent over backwards to find him.

Firefighters from the NSW Fire and Rescue Service were contacted to rescue a feline a few days ago. Snow , a white cat, found himself trapped between two walls of a house in Marrickville, a suburb of Sydney. It took almost 2 hours to get him out of there, reports the Daily Mail .

Following their intervention, which occurred late in the day, the firefighters were unable to contact a veterinarian on duty. The cat was not equipped with a collar or a microchip . So they decided to release him, assuming he would return home in no time if necessary.

Unfortunately, this will not be the case

In reality, Snow and his owner had moved into a new house 3 days earlier, and the feline had not had time to get used to it. He therefore fled, got stuck in the house in Marrickville, before disappearing a second time into the wild.

It was only the next morning that a panicked Amma Asantuaa received news from her cat. His rescue by firefighters was the subject of a television news report. The young woman remained stunned, but also a little disappointed: “ It seems strange to me that they let him go when his master wasn’t there, ” she initially lamented.

But Amma had no time to ruminate. The same day, she set out in search of her beloved feline, and explored all the streets of her neighborhood. “ I have traveled miles. “Some people must have thought I was making a big deal out of it, but Snow is like a child to me ,” she said. I adopted him when he was just a stray cat, and since then, I have always taken great care of him. »

“The most beautiful ending to a heartbreaking situation”

That same evening, around 9:30 p.m., little Snow decided to show his nose. He took refuge in an abandoned house . “ A huge weight less ” for his mistress. The duo enjoyed a well-deserved meal alone, and a restful and comforting night.

Following this story, Amma spoke on Facebook : “ I would like to thank everyone who helped me, but also the firefighters who saved him. He didn’t have a collar, so I understand their gesture. We have made an appointment to have him chipped and examined as he has a few scratches and missing a toenail, but otherwise he is fine and happy to be home. ”
