Mike “Boogie” Malin has been arrested again.
Authorities confirmed to PEOPLE that the 54-year-old Big Brother alum was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, March 7. As of Wednesday, March 12, Malin is still being held at an L.A. jail with bail set at $20,000.
According to his records, Malin had a warrant out for his arrest for “Criminal Contempt-Disobeying Court Order” — a misdemeanor. Following his arraignment, Malin entered a not-guilty plea and was given a new court date for March 20.
Although it is unclear what order Malin is accused of having violated, court records obtained by PEOPLE show his former Big Brother costar Will Kirby had been granted a restraining order against him. Malin was arrested in 2019 for felony stalking of Kirby and was later found guilty in 2021.
PEOPLE reached out to Kirby’s attorney for comment.

Just over a month ago, Malin had another run-in with the law. PEOPLE previously reported that he was arrested on Jan. 29 in the San Fernando Valley for allegedly shoplifting from multiple CVS stores.
The Burbank Police Department told PEOPLE at the time that Malin was allegedly confronted by an employee for stealing at one CVS, so he returned the items and fled to another location. Because “officers understand that suspects will often target multiple stores of the same brand when committing thefts,” BPD stated that they scanned the area and found Malin’s car unoccupied in front of a different CVS.
Officials waited for the reality star to return to his vehicle, and when he did, they detained him.
During their investigation, police said that an eyewitness positively identified Malin as the individual who stole two bottles of alcohol and some energy drinks from the second CVS. A CVS employee from the first location later signed a citizen’s arrest form.
Malin was taken to jail on misdemeanor theft charges and was later released with a citation for a court appearance in February. It is unknown whether he made that appearance.

Malin gained fame when he first appeared on Big Brother 2 in 2001, where he became the first houseguest to win a Head of Household competition. He proceeded to form the Chilltown alliance with Kirby and another contestant, Krista Stegall. Kirby ended up winning the season.
Then, in 2006, Malin and Kirby reunited for Big Brother 7. After gaining a reputation as a villain on the show, Malin won the season.
He returned to the franchise for a third and final time in 2012 as a coach to the season 14 newbies. He was eliminated early on, never making it to the jury stage.
