Last year, a video of a man being trampled to death by a wild elephant in Sri Lanka also caused a stir on social media.
The video shows, when the man’s car was parked in Kataragama, near Yala National Park, he jumped out of the car, trying to stop the elephant by hypnotizing it.
More and more elephant tracks run in residential areas.
However, his “tricks” failed. The large animal turned, ran towards the man, knocking him to the ground as he tried to run away.
The elephant then lifted one leg and trampled the man to death.
